Professional Holiday Celebration – December 22, 2025, Dushanbe
On December 22, 2025, in Dushanbe, the State Agency for Energy Supervision under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan held a ceremonial event dedicated to the professional holiday of energy sector employees.
The event was opened by the Director of the Agency, Sorbon Kholmuhammadzoda, who warmly welcomed all employees, congratulated them on Energy Workers’ Day, and conveyed greetings from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Qohir Rasulzoda. He emphasized that the energy sector is one of the main pillars of economic development, and with the support and guidance of the country’s leadership, it is continuously undergoing modernization and renovation. He also highlighted that during the winter season, when temporary electricity shortages are felt, the work of energy employees becomes even more responsible and crucial.
Employees were encouraged to actively energize their work and to carry out monitoring and awareness activities aimed at improving the culture of rational and efficient use of electricity and heat.
Jura Boboev, a veteran of the energy sector, shared his reflections on the honorable profession of an energy worker and recounted the history of the formation and development of the energy sector in Tajikistan.
At the conclusion of the event, a number of employees were honored with certificates of merit and letters of appreciation from the Agency, the Trade Union Committee, the executive authorities of Dushanbe, and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan for their dedicated work and professional achievements.
