In our ancient land, the Navruz festival arrives with the beautiful season of spring, spreading its green footsteps and illuminating every home and heart. Navruz brings joy and happiness, promotes friendship and solidarity, and breathes new melodies into life.
The civilized and culturally rich Tajik people have cherished this time of growth and blooming since ancient times, naming it Navruz. This ancient festival has preserved its virtues and continues to reveal its historical essence even more brightly. With the resounding echoes of Navruz celebrations, a special grandeur and magnificence emerge in Tajikistan. This is why the world has embraced this cultural gem, making our Navruz an international celebration.
It is worth noting that the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, and President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has played a significant role in globalizing Navruz. Thanks to his dedicated efforts, on September 30, 2009, UNESCO included Navruz in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and on February 19, 2010, during its 64th session, the UN General Assembly declared it the International Day of Navruz. Since then, this festival has been celebrated with great grandeur worldwide.
In the era of national independence, Navruz has gained a new splendor in the Republic of Tajikistan. We, the Tajik people, celebrate this festival as the sacred heritage of our ancestors and a festival of purity and beauty in an atmosphere of independence and unity, with deep gratitude.
For the ancient Tajik nation, this is a great honor, and for every citizen of Tajikistan, it is a source of pride and dignity. At the same time, Navruz promotes noble morals and admirable human qualities. The historical and cultural essence of this festival lies in the happiness and prosperity of humankind, calling for mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence, kindness, creativity, and love for nature and its blessings.
Every conscious citizen of our country must, with gratitude for and , strive to preserve and honor them at all times.
Taking this opportunity, I sincerely congratulate all my fellow countrymen on the arrival of the radiant Navruz festival and wish every Tajik home a clear and bright sky, peace, security, and prosperity.
May every day be like Navruz,
And may your Navruz be joyful and bright!
