Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, His Excellency Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During the conversation, the President of Kazakhstan warmly congratulated the Head of State on his birthday and wished the Leader of the Nation good health and continued success in his responsible state activities.
The sides also exchanged views on certain issues of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan within the framework of strategic partnership and alliance, and expressed their readiness to continue joint efforts to further promote fruitful relations between the two countries.
The Presidents of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan also touched upon other issues of mutual interest and discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral high-level meetings.
