Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matviyenko.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on certain aspects of multifaceted Tajik-Russian cooperation, including interparliamentary relations, which make a significant contribution to expanding relations between the two countries within the framework of strategic partnership and alliance.
The Leader of the Nation, expressing satisfaction with the steady development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, expressed confidence that these ties would continue to develop in the spirit of friendship, mutual understanding, and trust, in accordance with the fundamental interests of the peoples of our countries.
