On December 2 of this year, a meeting of the Presidium of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan was held, attended by the leadership, presidium members, heads of scientific institutions, and their structural subdivisions.
Three issues were discussed at the meeting:
-
"On the effective use of household and personal subsidiary lands of citizens in the republic,"
-
"On monitoring saline soils and ways to improve their reclamation conditions in the Khatlon region,"
-
"On the scientific, production, and financial activities of the experimental farm ‘Sunbula’ of the Institute of Horticulture, Viticulture, and Vegetable Growing of the AAST from 2022 to 2024 and tasks for 2025."
After discussing these issues, the President of the AAST, Salimzoda Amonullo Fayzullo, instructed the heads of scientific institutions to take necessary measures to improve the level and quality of research, enhance the implementation of achievements into production, and regularly provide scientifically based recommendations to farmers on crop cultivation technologies through seminars, field days, and farmer days.
