MEETING BETWEEN THE PRESIDENT OF THE TAJIK ACADEMY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES AND REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CHINESE COMPANY "SHAANXI APPLE GROUP"

On July 15 of this year, the President of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Academician Salimzoda Amonullo Fayzullo, held a meeting with a working delegation from the Chinese company "Shaanxi Apple Group," led by Mr. Yang Sixun.

The primary goal of the meeting was to exchange experience in the field of modern horticulture, particularly in advanced technologies for apple and citrus cultivation. During the discussion of joint projects, Academician Salimzoda Amonullo specifically emphasized the importance of utilizing innovative technologies adapted to the climatic conditions of Tajikistan. At the same time, during the meeting, Academician Salimzoda Amonullo Fayzullo proposed the signing of a new memorandum of understanding between the Academy and the aforementioned company to establish broader cooperation and ensure a legal framework for joint activities.

During the meeting, the leadership of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry and the Scientific Center for Innovative Technologies and Agricultural Mechanics of the Academy expressed their readiness for joint cooperation with the Chinese company.

As part of the visit, the guests toured the Museum of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the laboratories of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, and experimental greenhouses. The Chinese experts highly praised the scientific achievements of Tajik scientists and confirmed their readiness to introduce innovative technologies in the field of horticulture in Tajikistan.

The parties emphasized that the practical implementation of these projects would actively contribute to the development of the country's economy and the assurance of food security. This meeting has laid a solid foundation for strengthening scientific and technical relations between Tajikistan and China, and it is hoped that in the near future, with the support of the Chinese side, this important initiative will be realized, making a valuable contribution to the development of agricultural science in the country.
