On 29 December of the current year, a grand cultural event dedicated to the celebration of the New Year was held in Sino District of Dushanbe City. The event took place in a festive atmosphere and was marked by a special sense of splendor and solemnity.
The event was attended by the leadership of Sino District of Dushanbe City, including the Chairman of Sino District, Mr. Umed Gurezoda; the Deputy Chairman of Dushanbe City, Ms. Nurjahon Ismoilzoda; the First Deputy and Deputy Chairmen of Sino District; the Head of the Office; heads of departments and divisions of the Chairman’s Office, as well as a wide range of guests, activists, and residents of Sino District and Dushanbe City.
In their speeches, the Chairman of Sino District, Mr. Umed Gurezoda, and the Deputy Chairman of Dushanbe City, Ms. Nurjahon Ismoilzoda, warmly congratulated residents and guests on the occasion of the upcoming New Year and highlighted the significant achievements of the outgoing year. It was emphasized that the year 2025 is expected to be a successful and fruitful year for the residents of the capital and the country as a whole.
It was noted that all these successes and achievements are the result of the wise, constructive, and forward-looking policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, as well as the support and constructive initiatives of the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chairman of Dushanbe City, Mr. Rustam Emomali, which have laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the capital and the improvement of living standards.
It was also stated that the Executive Body of State Authority of Sino District will continue to implement specific measures aimed at realizing the state’s socio-economic policy, urban development, ensuring decent living conditions for residents, supporting youth, and developing the education and culture sectors.
The cultural program of the event featured a vibrant concert with festive songs, dances, musical performances, artists’ appearances, and engaging shows, providing the audience with positive emotions and inspiration. Residents and guests expressed their satisfaction with the festive event and welcomed the New Year with good wishes.
