Meeting at the Committee for Food Security on Anti-Corruption IssuesToday, a meeting was held at the Committee for Food Security under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the Committee’s leadership, employees of the central office and its structural subdivisions, as well as Faromarz Rahmonzoda, a representative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting was opened by Deputy Chairman of the Committee Abduroziqzoda Lutfullo Davlat, who briefed the participants on its objectives and agenda and then gave the floor to the representative of the Agency.
Rahmonzoda Faromarz addressed issues related to the prevention of and fight against corruption, strict compliance with legal requirements, enhancing the professional responsibility of employees, as well as the implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Strategy in the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2030 and its Implementation Action Plan. He also provided a number of useful recommendations and proposals.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that employees of the Committee must strictly comply with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the performance of their duties, refrain from any form of corruption, actively contribute to its prevention, and make a meaningful contribution to strengthening the rule of law.
