On July 3, 2026, the assembly hall of the Directorate of the Food Safety Committee in Khatlon Region hosted a summary meeting dedicated to the results of the six-month activity of the Committee's Directorate and its sub-structures in cities and districts. The meeting comprehensively analyzed and reviewed the performance of the sector in the first half of the current year and defined the tasks for the upcoming period.

First Deputy Governor of Khatlon Region, Mirzozoda Muzafar;Head of the Directorate of the Food Safety Committee in Khatlon Region, Ibrohimzoda Abdusattor;Head of the Regional Food Safety Diagnostic Center, Qaraev Boboqul;
Head of the Committee's Directorate for Border and Transport, Khojazoda Safarkhon;Heads of food safety supply and diagnostic centers of the region's cities and districts, alongside other officials.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of the Directorate of the Food Safety Committee in Khatlon Region, Ibrohimzoda Abdusattor, presented a report on the six-month performance of the sector. He noted that during this period, a number of effective measures were implemented to fulfill the instructions and directives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Special attention during the meeting was also paid to landscaping works and the implementation of state sectoral programs. It was emphasized that necessary measures should be launched in the cities and districts of Khatlon region as part of the preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Chairman of the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Faizullozoda Muhammadsaid Ubaidullo, analyzed the performance of the sector's structures in his speech and gave specific instructions to the responsible officials to eliminate existing shortcomings and ensure high-quality execution of official duties.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the future action plan of the sector was reviewed. The heads of the sub-structures were instructed to take additional measures to improve performance in cities and districts regarding the prevention of especially dangerous diseases, as well as the expansion of improvement and landscaping works.
Concurrently, for significant achievements in their work performance during the 6 months of 2026, several heads of food safety supply and diagnostic centers in the cities and districts of the region were honored with Certificates of Appreciation from the Head of the Committee's Directorate in the region.
