Meeting of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies
Today, on January 10, 2025, at the conference hall of the MISiS National Research Technological University branch in Dushanbe, a meeting of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan was held with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Usmonzoda Usmonali. The meeting focused on the results of the activities of industrial enterprises and institutions in Tajikistan in 2024, as well as tasks for the first quarter of 2025.
The meeting was attended by staff of the Ministry’s central office, heads of state-owned enterprises, institutions, industrial associations, and shareholders of joint-stock companies.
Based on the achievements and results of 2024, and to eliminate factors hindering industrial development in the first quarter of 2025 in order to achieve the strategic goal of accelerated industrialization of the country, the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Sherali Kabir, assigned enterprises, institutions, and industrial associations to:
increase the volume of import-substituting and export-oriented industrial products;
ensure compliance of manufactured products with domestic and international standards;
implement modern technologies;
establish information and communication technologies in industrial enterprises.
In addition, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Usmonzoda Usmonali provided recommendations on implementing the instructions of the President, the Supreme Leader of the Nation, Mr. Emomali Rahmon, outlined in the 2024 Address to the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, regarding the achievement of set goals and implementation of adopted sectoral programs.
At the conclusion of the Advisory Board meeting, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the 16th Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, active employees of the industrial sector were awarded the medals “Honorary Worker of the Industrial Sector of the Republic of Tajikistan” for their contributions to the development of the country’s industry and implementation of the fourth national strategic goal – “accelerated industrialization of the country.”
