Dear Mothers and Respected Women,
Distinguished colleagues and guests,
It is with great respect and sincere appreciation that I congratulate you on Mother’s Day — a beautiful spring celebration and a symbol of love, devotion, and kindness.
This significant day was proclaimed in our country at the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, as a day to honor mothers, and it is celebrated annually with special solemnity. A woman-mother is the giver of life, the educator of generations, the guide of children, and the strong foundation of family and society.
Today, the women of Tajikistan actively contribute to all spheres of public life — science and education, economy and healthcare, public administration and production. They make up more than half of the country’s population and represent a powerful force in the development and prosperity of our homeland.
The State and Government of the Republic of Tajikistan pay special attention to raising the social status of women and take significant measures to involve more women and girls in the political, social, and economic life of the country. Care for women and mothers is an essential part of the state’s social policy.
The Tajik mother, with patience, love, and a strong sense of patriotism, raises a generation that becomes the builder of the present and future of our sacred land. Therefore, respect for a mother means respect for life, for the future, and for the highest human values.
The leadership of the State Institution “Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology” of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan sincerely congratulates all mothers and women on this wonderful occasion and wishes every family light and harmony, unity and peace, strong health, happiness, and prosperity.
