Dear educators and teachers!
Dear employees of the education sector!
I sincerely congratulate all of you on Teacher’s Day and wish you good health, prosperity and happiness, as well as success and achievements in your professional activities.
The teaching profession is one of the most respected professions and, at the same time, entails enormous responsibility, since the development of the state, the progress of society and the future of the nation directly depend on the level of knowledge, worldview and upbringing of generations who reach maturity through the dedicated work of teachers.
That is why, from the very first days of State Independence, ensuring the development of science and education, creating favorable conditions for the education and upbringing of the younger generation, and raising the status and prestige of teachers have been declared among the priorities of the social policy of the state and the Government of Tajikistan.
Over the 35 years of State Independence, significant work has been carried out to develop the education sector using all available opportunities and resources. At the same time, measures are continuously being taken to improve the social conditions of sector employees and support teachers.
We will continue this process in the future.
We clearly understand that, amid the rapid and unprecedented development of science, technology and modern technologies, the mission of teachers is becoming even more important and requires an even greater sense of responsibility.
Teachers should guide adolescents and young people toward studying modern science and acquiring knowledge, learning foreign languages, mastering modern technologies, and developing their knowledge of natural sciences and mathematics. At the same time, they should instill in them the spirit of patriotism and love for the Motherland, respect for national values, careful appreciation of the history and culture of their ancestors, diligence and responsibility.
To fulfill this important and constructive mission, which determines the future, mentors and teachers must be demanding, principled and responsible, and must pay particular attention to improving the quality of education and educational work.
Our educators and teachers should always remember that the future of the state and the nation begins with school and education, while the foundation of tomorrow’s prosperous and developed Tajikistan is laid by today’s teachers through their knowledge, enlightenment and dedicated work.
We have deep confidence in the constructive strength of education-sector employees, the experience of knowledgeable and seasoned teachers, as well as the aspirations and initiatives of young teachers in educating and raising the future builders of the Motherland and the nation.
Expressing confidence in the bright future of our beloved country, I once again sincerely congratulate all educators and teachers, veterans, and all employees of the education sector on Teacher’s Day.
I wish each of you good health, prosperity and success in fulfilling your honorable educational mission.
Happy Teacher’s Day, dear mentors and teachers!
