On August 11, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, during his working visit to the city of Hisor, inaugurated the new “Duoi Modar” (“Mother’s Blessing”) Park, located in the Kamoli Khujandi neighborhood of Hisor.
The facility was constructed to create favorable conditions for the recreation and leisure of local residents and has already become one of the beautiful and cozy places in the neighborhood.
Construction work at the site began in May 2026 and was completed within a short period using modern construction methods. The park covers an area of 0.40 hectares. During the landscaping and improvement works, 27 local residents were provided with temporary employment.
The “Duoi Modar” Park is surrounded by greenery. Colorful flowers, shady trees, and various types of ornamental plants have been planted, creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for recreation. The park’s lighting also adds to its special appeal and provides favorable conditions for residents to walk and relax.
At the center of the park, a sculpture of a mother has been installed, symbolizing sincere respect for the greatest source of love and care — the mother.
A mother is a child’s first teacher, educator, and guide on the path of life. For this reason, the park was given the symbolic name “Duoi Modar” (“Mother’s Blessing”).
During his visit to the “Duoi Modar” Park, the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, paid particular attention to the importance of honoring the status of mothers and respecting them as the most sacred person in every individual’s life.
It was also emphasized that a mother is a great and sacred person, and showing respect and care for her is the filial duty of every son and daughter.
