On 20 July, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on a state visit.
The grounds of the international airport were festively decorated with the national flags of Tajikistan and Mongolia.
At Ulaanbaatar International Airport, the distinguished guest—President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon—was warmly welcomed by Batmunkh Battsetseg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, along with other senior officials and dignitaries.
In accordance with the official protocol for state visits, a red carpet was laid out at the foot of the aircraft stairs, while members of the honour guard stood in formation on both sides.
The welcoming ceremony was made especially solemn by the presence of a group of Mongolian youth dressed in traditional national attire and by the observance of the country's longstanding tradition of receiving high-ranking foreign guests.
