Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Masoud Pezeshkian.
At the beginning of the conversation, the Head of State expressed sincere congratulations to the people and leadership of Iran on the achievement of a peace agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America.
It was noted that the landmark document signed in this regard by the heads of the two states is of key importance for ensuring lasting peace in the Middle East and beyond, strengthening international stability, and promoting sustainable development.
The Leader of the Nation extended wishes of lasting peace, stability, and security to the people of Iran.
During the conversation, key aspects of bilateral cooperation were discussed. The parties also emphasized their continued interest in expanding and strengthening relations between Tajikistan and Iran, as well as their readiness to implement joint practical initiatives to achieve new mutually beneficial results.
