On June 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, held a working meeting on preparations for the celebration of the historic 35th Anniversary of State Independence and other pressing issues.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali, and a number of senior government officials. Discussions focused on accelerating construction and development activities, preparations for the celebration of the 35th Anniversary of State Independence, and readiness for the autumn-winter season of 2026–2027.
President Emomali Rahmon instructed the relevant authorities to expedite the construction and preparation of enterprises, institutions, and other facilities envisaged under the programs dedicated to the worthy celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was also emphasized that, in preparation for the upcoming winter season and the new academic year, increased attention should be given to the repair, modernization, and provision of educational and healthcare institutions.
