On May 28, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, issued a number of strict instructions to the relevant structures to fully satisfy the country’s market demand with domestically produced cement.
According to the instructions of the Head of State, within the next 2–3 years, that is by 2029, four new cement plants with a total production capacity of 6 million tons will be commissioned in various regions of the country.
With this capacity, cement production in Tajikistan will increase by 100%, leading to the full and surplus supply of the domestic market with high-quality cement at affordable prices.
Approximately 5,000 new jobs will be created at these plants.
