On May 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, sent a telegram of condolences to the President and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, His Excellencies Asif Ali Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif, in connection with the suicide terrorist attack on a passenger train in the Balochistan province of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which resulted in the death and injury of a large number of people.
The message reads, in particular:
“We strongly condemn this horrific terrorist act and all manifestations of terrorism, and consistently emphasize the urgent need for an uncompromising fight against this evil.
I express to you, the friendly brotherly people of Pakistan, and the families and relatives of the victims our deepest condolences and sincere words of support. I pray to the Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for those who lost their lives, and for a speedy and full recovery to all those injured.”
