Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, His Excellency Sadyr Japarov.
During the conversation, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. In this context, the positive dynamics in the development of relations between the two countries were noted. Particular attention was focused on the importance of continuing the active implementation of the intergovernmental agreements reached earlier.
In continuation of the conversation, the heads of the two states reviewed the schedule of upcoming high-level meetings in multilateral formats and also discussed preparations for the anniversary SCO Summit, which will be held in the city of Bishkek on August 31 – September 1 of the current year.
The Presidents also exchanged views on a number of international and regional agenda issues.
