The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the “Sughd Sanoat Holding” beverage production enterprise in the city of Khujand.
On March 29, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the beverage production enterprise “Sughd Sanoat Holding” in the city of Khujand and became acquainted with projects of five new production and service facilities.
The “Sughd Sanoat Holding” beverage production enterprise is equipped with two technological lines imported from Germany and the People’s Republic of China.
The number of employees at the industrial enterprise will gradually increase to 50 in accordance with market demand and the capacity of the technological lines. The production of import-substituting goods is one of the main objectives of the enterprise.
The production facility was built by entrepreneur Mirzoabdurakhmon Mirzobahodurzoda.
The Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the entrepreneur’s initiative in effectively utilizing government-provided incentives and benefits, introducing modern technologies, establishing new enterprises, and increasing the production of import-substituting and export-oriented goods.
At the new industrial facility, two types of soft drinks are produced from locally processed raw materials. The entrepreneur’s further goals include the full utilization of technological capacity, meeting market requirements, increasing production volumes, and expanding staff.
At the same facility, the Leader of the Nation was presented with projects for the construction of a pasta production plant, an animal feed production enterprise, a cotton processing plant, a modern greenhouse complex, and the “Sughd Mol” service center.
The pasta factory will produce five types of products for the market. The imported technology is designed to produce up to one ton of products per hour.
The total area of the “Sughd Mol” service center is 14,000 square meters, and the project is being implemented in accordance with international standards.
It should be noted that during his working visit to the Sughd Region on October 15, 2020, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, after inaugurating the “Sughdiyon” trade and service center and a sewing workshop in Bobojon Ghafurov District, instructed entrepreneurs to develop a modern service center as part of preparations for the 35th anniversary of State Independence.
Based on these instructions, the construction of the “Sughd Mol” service center began and is progressing rapidly. Entrepreneurs plan to commission it during the celebration of this important historical date, creating dozens of new jobs.
The animal feed production plant in Buston city is designed to produce 12 types of feed for domestic animals, poultry, and fish, with a total capacity of 10 tons per hour.
At the same time, a modern greenhouse complex is planned to be built on an area of 10 hectares. Vegetable production will be organized using modern equipment in line with consumer market requirements.
Another project is a cotton processing plant with a capacity of up to 50 tons of raw material per day. Full processing of local raw materials will be its main focus.
In total, the implementation of the five new projects in the Sughd Region will create about 1,500 new jobs.
The Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, instructed responsible officials of ministries, agencies, and entrepreneurs to ensure high-quality implementation of projects, expand opportunities for deep processing of local raw materials, increase employment, and produce competitive products.
