The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a residential building for social sector workers in the city of Khujand.
On March 29, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a residential building for social sector workers in the city of Khujand.
This important event is regarded as a logical continuation of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan’s social policy aimed at improving the living conditions of employees in the education and healthcare sectors.
The residential building is a 9-storey structure consisting of 40 one-, two-, and three-room apartments. Providing housing for employees of healthcare, education, culture, law enforcement agencies, and civil servants contributes to improving the standard of living and creating decent working and living conditions for teachers, educators, and medical workers.
The Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, visited the Center for the Study of Innovative Technologies on the ground floor of the building and launched its activities. The opening of this center is considered an important step toward the formation of a new technological ecosystem in the city of Khujand. The center can serve as a hub for attracting young talents, educators, and industry professionals, as well as for implementing new ideas in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence.
One of the key areas of the center’s activities is the application of artificial intelligence technologies in agriculture. As an agrarian country, the Republic of Tajikistan has significant potential in the agricultural sector, and the use of modern technologies can help increase productivity and efficiency.
Another important direction of the center’s work is the development of digital technologies in the healthcare sector.
Within its activities, the center provides opportunities for the development and implementation of electronic patient registration systems, electronic medical records, and digital healthcare information management platforms.
The introduction of modern mobile payment systems, electronic wallets, and online lending platforms can ensure transparency and security in financial operations, contributing to the development of a digital and “green” economy.
On the same occasion, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, handed over the keys to apartments to 30 employees of the education and healthcare sectors. This kind gesture on the eve of the International Navruz holiday is regarded as a sign of care, support, and appreciation by the Leader of the Nation for teachers and medical workers.
