Within the framework of the guiding directives of this year’s Message from the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, and in connection with the declaration by the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan of 2025 as the "Year of Agricultural Science Development and Innovative Technologies," a series of events were held at the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan.
In particular, the Leader of the Nation emphasized that "We must always remember that all successes and achievements of every state and society are ensured by schools, education, science, and knowledge. Moreover, in the context of sustainable development of international cooperation and the expanding integration of Tajikistan into the global community, the demand for specialists with a high level of professionalism is growing."
On January 17, 2025, a training and practical seminar on the topic “The Role of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) and Science Index in the Analysis and Evaluation of Scientific Activity” was held in the assembly hall of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan. The seminar was attended by 21 representatives of scientific institutes and centers within the Academy’s structure.
The seminar was opened by the Vice President of the AAS of Tajikistan, Amirshozoda F.S., who wished the participants success in their work.
The moderator was Rustam Abdusamad Tursunzoda, Advisor to the President of the AAS of Tajikistan, who noted that the purpose of this seminar was to train specialists from scientific and educational institutions on the capabilities of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), Science Index, and Scopus databases for analyzing and evaluating scientific activities, as well as their role in increasing the publication activity of authors and scientific institutions.
