On December 11, 2024, a meeting was held in the hall of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan between the President of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, and non-staff member of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan (AAST) Salimzoda Amonullo Fayzullo, PhD graduates, and their scientific supervisors.
It was noted that the adoption of the "State Program for Training Highly Qualified Personnel for 2021–2030," approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on June 30, 2021, No. 264, is timely and should give a strong impetus to the preparation of highly qualified scientific personnel.
In this regard, the President of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, and non-staff member of AAST Salimzoda Amonullo Fayzullo emphasized that the main task in implementing this program is to regulate the training process at the master’s and PhD levels.
Training specialists in agriculture and highly qualified scientific personnel is one of the primary responsibilities of scientific institutions. This honorable and responsible mission requires a serious, rigorous, and demanding approach to education and upbringing of youth in order to prepare worthy professionals for the bright future of the country.
Today, globalization and the rapid development of modern technologies impose high demands on the competitiveness of highly qualified personnel in the global market. Therefore, the President of the Academy once again instructed all heads of scientific institutions of the Academy and PhD supervisors to pay serious attention to the training of highly qualified scientific personnel, as this issue was also highlighted by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, during a meeting with the country’s scientific and educational community on May 30, 2024.
Additionally, at today’s meeting, deadlines were set for the submission of completed dissertations for preliminary and main defense. It was noted that in the first half of 2025, the implementation of the Program will be reviewed again to ensure positive results.
