On November 15, 2024, a roundtable was held at the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (AASRT) on the occasion of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Day, titled: “The Founder of a Sovereign, Democratic, Legal, Secular, and United State.”
The event was attended by the president of AASRT, leaders and representatives of scientific institutions, agricultural scientists, and invited guests. The opening speech was delivered by the Academy’s president, Amonullo Salimzoda, who congratulated all attendees on the occasion of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Day. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the multifaceted activities and outstanding merits of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, stating:
“Today is a special day for the entire people of Tajikistan and compatriots abroad. According to Article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Public Holidays,’ November 16 is annually celebrated as ‘President of the Republic of Tajikistan Day.’
On such a day, it is appropriate to recall the status and achievements of the Head of State: his recognition as an outstanding statesman of a new formation, ensuring peace, national unity, and strengthening the international authority and position of independent Tajikistan — all of which, undoubtedly, are linked to the competence and effective activities of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.”
