On August 17 of this year, in the city of Hisor, as part of the implementation of the directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and on the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, institutions and organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture, together with the executive authorities of the city of Hisor, held the practical session of the International Scientific and Practical Conference-Festival-Exhibition “Current Issues in the Development of the Hissar Sheep Breed.”
The conference was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Sulaymon Ziyozoda; Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Kurbon Hakimzoda; Chairman of the city of Hisor, respected Nosirzoda Jabbor; development partners; international organizations; scientists from the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan and Shirinshokh Shohtemur Tajik Agrarian University; representatives of executive authorities from regions, cities, and districts; as well as sheep farming enterprises.
Also participating were scientists and specialists from the sheep breeding sector from the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Belarus.
At the beginning, the participants familiarized themselves with the exhibition showcasing achievements in agriculture, animal husbandry, and traditional crafts.
