In the assembly hall of the Committee for Tourism Development on May 8, 2025, on the initiative of the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Salimzoda Ziyodullo, with the participation of employees of the Committee’s Central Office and the State Unitary Enterprise “Information Center for Tourist Services,” a solemn gathering was held dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee Salimzoda Ziyodullo opened the event and congratulated those present on this holiday. It was noted that in the years of independence, under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon — along with orphans, disabled persons, and low-income families, elderly people and war and labor veterans receive worthy care and attention.
It was also emphasized that thousands of soldiers representing Tajikistan bravely participated in the battles of the Great Patriotic War, demonstrating unparalleled courage. Out of approximately 300,000 representatives from Tajikistan, over 92,000 perished on the battlefields.
Additionally, employees of the Committee delivered speeches dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War and the heroic deeds of the Tajik people.
