Based on the instruction of the Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated May 12, 2026, No. 17625(26.6), and the Action Plan of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a festive event titled "The Role of Youth in Strengthening State Independence" dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held on July 28, 2026, in the assembly hall of the Food Security Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was attended by the leadership, central office staff, and structural subdivisions of the Committee, as well as the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahimzoda Shabnam Karim, who delivered a speech.
The event was opened by the Chairman of the Committee, Faizullozoda Muhammadsaid Ubaydullo, who noted that ensuring food security is one of the priority strategic goals of the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. Numerous measures are being taken in this direction to improve the lives of the country's residents. He expressed satisfaction that the staff of the food security agency—the majority of whom are educated, skilled, and experienced young people—perform their professional duties with a high sense of patriotism and responsibility.
In his speech, he also quoted the words of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon: "Today, our youth, with a strong will and high enthusiasm, are mastering modern knowledge and science, and are actively working in various spheres of state and society life for the development of our beloved country. Therefore, today it is impossible to imagine the political, economic, social, and cultural development of any state without the active participation of youth."
Following this, the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahimzoda Shabnam, delivered her presentation dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Additionally, Saimurodov Shuhrat Ulugbekovich, a specialist from the Department of International Relations, delivered a presentation on the topic "We are the Happy Youth of the Era of Independence."
In conclusion, a number of young employees of the Committee were awarded honorary certificates and letters of appreciation by the Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Food Security Committee for their effective work and high labor achievements.
