Today, the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a grand event dedicated to World Food Safety Day and the Day of Food Safety Authority Workers. The event was widely attended by employees of the central apparatus, regional authorities, and subordinate organizations of the Committee.
The event commenced with an opening speech by the Chairman of the Committee, Honorable Faizullozoda M.U. In his address, he emphasized:"In our future operations, we must strengthen the use of modern technologies, enhance professional knowledge, increase accountability, and foster close cooperation with all relevant structures, entrepreneurs, and the general public. Only in this way can we achieve our set goals and make a greater contribution to ensuring the nation's food security."
On the occasion of this important date, the Chairman of the Committee wished all food safety sector workers health, prosperity, and new achievements in their highly responsible duties.
During the event, to promote World Food Safety Day, an awareness campaign was conducted at the "Mehrgon" market in Dushanbe. Entrepreneurs and shoppers were provided with guidance on compliance with food safety regulations, the correct choice of food products, and the prevention of risks associated with consuming low-quality food. Additionally, informative booklets were distributed among the population.
