The Deputy Chairman of the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Muminzoda M.O., participated in the 93rd General Assembly of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), held on May 18–22, 2026, in Paris.
On the sidelines of the event, bilateral meetings were held with the President of the WOAH Council, Suzana Pombo, the Deputy Director General of WOAH, Baba Soumare, and the WOAH Regional Representative for Central Asia, Merike Taitubaev. The discussions focused on the development of the veterinary sector, strengthening technical cooperation, and professional training.
During the Assembly, issues regarding the prevention of infectious animal diseases, strengthening food security, and implementing international veterinary standards were also reviewed.
