On March 24, at the initiative of the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a magnificent celebration of the International Holiday of Navruz was held in the Jabbor Rasulov district.
The celebration grounds were festively decorated, creating a unique Navruz atmosphere. All structures of the Committee prepared extensively, contributing to the high-level execution of the event.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Chairman of the Jabbor Rasulov district, Olimbek Yuldoshzoda, warmly welcomed the guests and congratulated all participants on the arrival of Navruz. Subsequently, the Chairman of the Food Safety Committee, Muhammadsaid Faizullozoda, greeted the industry employees on this auspicious holiday. He emphasized that the primary goal of the grand Navruz celebration is to honor national sanctities, ancestral traditions, and the ancient culture and civilization of the Tajik nation. It was noted that Navruz holds a special status as a festival of nature’s rebirth, the beginning of the New Year, and a symbol of joy, friendship, brotherhood, and national unity.
During the festivities, representatives from subordinate structures, supply centers, and diagnostic laboratories from various cities and districts participated. They welcomed Navruz with great splendor, observing national customs such as cooking Sumanak, preparing traditional dishes, and other spring traditions.
Concurrently, cultural and entertainment programs were held at the celebration venues, marking the arrival of the Ancestral New Year — the radiant Navruz. As part of the festivities, and to promote a healthy lifestyle and sports development, "tug-of-war" and "arm-wrestling" competitions were organized among the Committee staff. At the end of the matches, the winners were presented with prizes established by the organizing committee.
Furthermore, for their significant contribution to the successful organization of the event, all sub-structures of the Committee in the Sughd region were honored with Certificates of Appreciation.
