Today, January 26, 2026, the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a press conference regarding its 2025 performance results. The event was organized in accordance with the instructions of the Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (dated December 12, 2025, No. 26/10-465) and the national schedule for ministerial press briefings.
The conference was attended by a wide range of media representatives, with more than 24 journalists from various news outlets present.
The Chairman of the Committee, Honorable Fayzullozoda Muhammadsaid, opened the session, expressing his appreciation for the ongoing cooperation with the media. Prior to the briefing, a comprehensive press release was distributed to all media representatives.
The conference was conducted primarily in a Q&A format. The leadership and heads of structural divisions of the Committee's central apparatus provided specific and detailed answers to the journalists' inquiries regarding food safety, veterinary supervision, and phytosanitary standards.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee leadership called upon the national media for even broader cooperation. They emphasized the importance of objective reporting on both the achievements and challenges within the sector to further enhance the effectiveness of the food safety authorities.
