Dear Compatriots,
It is with great pleasure and profound pride that we celebrate the 29th Anniversary of National Unity Day—a historic occasion that holds a distinguished place in the history of our independent state and has been inscribed in golden letters in the annals of our nationhood.
On this joyous occasion, I sincerely extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the people of our beloved Tajikistan. I wish you good health, prosperity, happiness, peace in every home, and everlasting peace, stability, and unity for our dear Motherland.
National Unity is one of the greatest and most sacred achievements of the Tajik people during the years of our country's independence. It has played a decisive role in uniting our nation, strengthening our statehood, and ensuring sustainable development.
Indeed, it is thanks to National Unity that our country enjoys peace, stability, security, progress, prosperity, and an ever-improving standard of living for its citizens.
National Unity and State Independence are inseparable values. They complement and reinforce one another, providing a solid foundation for the continued development of our nation and the well-being of our people.
History bears witness that it was through the tireless efforts and wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, that our once-divided nation was reunited, peace was restored, and the foundations for a stable and prosperous society were laid.
We must never forget the tragic consequences of the civil conflict that preceded the signing of the Peace Agreement. Thousands of our fellow citizens lost their lives, countless mothers mourned their children, many children were left without fathers, and numerous families lost their homes and livelihoods.
The peace, political stability, and national unity we enjoy today were achieved through the devoted efforts of the Leader of the Nation, as well as through the sacrifice and patriotism of thousands of loyal sons and daughters of our Motherland.
Therefore, every citizen of Tajikistan, especially the younger generation, must always remember that our National Unity was achieved at a tremendous cost and must be preserved and strengthened for future generations.
Each of us should realize that the greatest blessing in life is to live in a peaceful, stable, prosperous, and independent homeland. Only under conditions of peace, stability, and unity can our noble aspirations be realized, our national development programs successfully implemented, and our social and economic challenges gradually overcome.
National Unity will remain strong and everlasting only if every citizen places the interests of the nation and the state above all other interests, contributes to strengthening solidarity and mutual understanding in society, cherishes our ancestral homeland, and regards it as the highest and most sacred value.
Once again, I sincerely congratulate all residents of Lakhsh District and the entire people of Tajikistan on the occasion of National Unity Day. I wish every family peace, happiness, prosperity, good fortune, and continued success for the progress and flourishing of our beloved Motherland.
