Congratulatory Message of the Chairman of Lakhsh District, Respected Kholzoda Karomiddin Kamoliddin, on the Occasion of the 81st Anniversary of Victory Day over Fascism
Today, all of us are on the eve of celebrating the 81st anniversary of Victory Day over fascism.
Victory Day over fascism holds a special place among the unforgettable historical dates.
That is why every year peace-loving people around the world, including us — the citizens of independent Tajikistan — remember the horrors of this devastating war and celebrate May 9 as a day honoring the courage and heroism of the brave men who fought against Hitler’s fascism.
It should be especially noted that the honorable and courageous sons of Tajikistan also made a valuable contribution to this historic victory.
During those years, more than 300,000 citizens of our country participated in fierce battles, demonstrating bravery and heroism. More than 92,000 of them lost their lives on the battlefield, while over 60,000 were wounded. Their noble names and heroic deeds have been forever recorded in the history of our people.
Since the first days of the independence of our beloved Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, has paid special attention to supporting war veterans, people with disabilities, and the families of participants of the Great Patriotic War, and this noble initiative continues to this day.
Therefore, the heroism and courage of the honorable sons of Tajikistan serve as an outstanding example of loyalty and devoted service to the Motherland for today’s generation.
We are proud that our youth sincerely love their Motherland, respect national values and sacred traditions, and at the same time protect themselves and their peers from the influence of radical and extremist ideologies and superstition.
We must educate today’s generation in the spirit of patriotism, high national consciousness, peace, humanity, creativity, and constructive work, and guide them toward maturity and responsibility.
With these sincere wishes and noble intentions, I once again warmly congratulate all veterans and the entire people of our beloved Tajikistan on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Victory Day over fascism, and I wish every citizen of the country good health, dignity, prosperity, and peace in their homes.
