On March 14, 2023, the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sherali Kabir, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Tajikistan, Umut Açar.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Turkey in priority industrial sectors, the work of the Tajikistan–Turkey Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, and other relevant projects related to the country’s accelerated industrialization. The Minister congratulated the Ambassador of Turkey on his new appointment and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic mission in Tajikistan.
