On March 14, 2023, the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sherali Kabir, held a meeting with the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ibragim Abdurakhmonov.
The parties discussed current issues in their respective fields and ways to expand bilateral cooperation. They also expressed readiness to implement joint programs in the areas of innovation, artificial intelligence, startups, and support for the activities of private sector representatives in these fields in both countries.
