On May 8, 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sherali Kabir, and a delegation of the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (BVMW).
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the industrial sector, the introduction of new technologies, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and the establishment of joint ventures. The Minister presented investment opportunities in Tajikistan, including in free economic zones and priority industrial sectors.
The BVMW delegation expressed readiness to expand trade cooperation and bring modern German experience and technology to Tajikistan. Both sides also emphasized the importance of organizing joint business conferences and forums.
The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and was considered an important step in developing economic and industrial relations between Tajikistan and Germany.
