On November 5 of this year, the Institute of Economics and Systematic Research on Agricultural Development of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan held a roundtable under the title: “The Constitution – the Foundation of National Statehood and the Progress of a Democratic Society”, with the participation of the Institute’s leadership and staff.
The event began with the singing of the national anthem. Then, the Director of the Institute, Jalil Safar Pirizoda, delivered a speech and congratulated the participants on the 31st anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was emphasized that the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan is one of the great achievements of the Tajik people. It serves as the legal foundation for building a newly established and sovereign state, as the legal expression of the ideals of national statehood, protecting national goals and interests, and preserving historical and cultural heritage.
Today, under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the esteemed President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, our country, through the implementation of the principles and values of the Constitution, has achieved significant progress in strengthening state foundations, promoting sustainable economic development, and improving the well-being of the people.
The event continued with presentations by the Institute’s staff, dedicated to Constitution Day, highlighting the importance of this fundamental legal document.
