On 13 July 2026, a meeting of the Board of the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held to review and summarize the results of its activities during the first half of 2026 and to determine tasks for further activities.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Main Directorate, Mr. Sherali Mirzo, Representative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Saidmurodzoda Khursand Abduvahob, Deputy Heads of the Main Directorate, heads of structural divisions, territorial bodies, and the State Unitary Enterprise “Markaz” of the Main Directorate.
During the meeting, the Head of the Main Directorate, who also serves as Chairman of the Board, heard reports from the First Deputy Head and the heads of structural divisions of the central office of the Main Directorate and reviewed and analyzed their activities.
It was noted that the activities of the Main Directorate during the first half of 2026 were carried out in accordance with decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, resolutions and orders of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, written instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as decisions of the Board and the Work Plan of the Main Directorate.
Based on the results of the work and the analysis conducted, the activities of the Main Directorate during the first half of 2026 were assessed as satisfactory.
In conclusion, the Head of the Main Directorate, Mr. Sherali Mirzo, outlined the main directions for the further development of the sector, with the aim of strengthening its activities and addressing existing shortcomings, and issued specific instructions.
