On April 28, 2025, the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Qu Dongyu, along with his accompanying delegation, paid a visit to the city of Hisor.
The event was attended by:
Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan – Hakimzoda Qurbon,
President of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Corresponding Member of AIKT – Salimzoda Amonullo Faizullo,
Mayor of Hisor – Nosirzoda Jabbor.
The National Center for Genetic Resources of AIKT also participated in the event, showcasing its achievements and presenting seeds of local varieties and samples of agricultural crops.
