Language is the essence of a nation, a reflection of the culture and history of its people, and one of the most important pillars of statehood. A teacher, with love and dedication to this noble profession, plays a constructive role in shaping the worldview, knowledge, spirituality, and self-awareness of the younger generation. In this spirit, on October 5, a ceremonial event dedicated to the State Language Day of the Republic of Tajikistan and Teachers’ Day was held at the Palace of Culture of Devashtich District.
The event was attended by the district leadership, teachers and education workers, community activists, and representatives of various sectors of society.
At the beginning of the event, Chairman of Devashtich District Ashurali Jalilzoda delivered a speech and sincerely congratulated those present on these important celebrations.
In his speech, the district chairman emphasized the important role of the state language in strengthening national identity, preserving cultural values, and ensuring the stability of statehood. He stressed that respecting the state language and contributing to its development and purity is the responsibility of every citizen of the country.
The important role and status of the teacher as an educator of the future generation were also highlighted. It was emphasized that the development of society and the progress of the state directly depend on the level of knowledge, education, and proper upbringing of the younger generation. Through their dedicated work and fruitful activities, teachers make a valuable contribution to this process.
The cultural part of the event continued with performances by cultural figures and students, including songs, patriotic poems, and colorful stage performances. The prepared program celebrated love for the native language, the homeland, and the noble profession of teaching.
One of the memorable moments of the event was the recognition of outstanding teachers. For their fruitful work, valuable contribution to the education and upbringing of the younger generation, and meritorious service, a number of teachers were awarded Certificates of Appreciation from the Chairman of Devashtich District.
The festive event was held in a solemn atmosphere and in a spirit of deep respect for the state language and teachers. It once again demonstrated that language and education are two important foundations of the spiritual existence of the nation and the development of society. Honoring the state language and respecting teachers is, in essence, honoring the past, present, and future of the nation.
