He noted that every year, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Military Duty and Military Service” and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the conscription of citizens of military age into the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan is carried out in two stages.
Today, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, as a pillar of the independent state, have developed into a modern, well-organized and reliable institution. Compared with previous years, they have made significant progress in terms of material and technical support, military capabilities and skills, as well as the discipline of personnel.
Thanks to the professional dedication and courage, selflessness and round-the-clock service of the personnel of the Armed Forces and other law enforcement agencies of the country, peace and stability have been maintained in society, enabling the people of the country to live peacefully.
The district chairman emphasized that protecting the homeland, safeguarding state interests, strengthening national independence and enhancing the country’s defense capability are sacred duties of every citizen. It was also noted that military service is not only a filial duty but also a school of courage and patriotism for every honorable young man.
The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Army General Emomali Rahmon, considers state youth policy one of the primary areas of the Government’s policy and emphasizes that “the contribution of young people to the defense of the Motherland deserves praise; they serve faithfully in all units of the Armed Forces and other military structures and also play an important role in protecting the state border.”
Today, patriotic young people clearly understand that serving the Motherland is a sacred filial duty and a responsibility of manhood. By serving in the Armed Forces of the country, the younger generation passes through an important school of life and personal development. It is here that young men learn courage, bravery and how to protect their native land. In other words, military service is a clear expression of patriotism and an understanding of the necessity and importance of protecting the interests of the state and people of Tajikistan, the district chairman stated.
Service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan is an important school of life, discipline and personal development. It is here that young men learn courage and bravery and come to appreciate one of life’s most sacred values — loving and remaining loyal to the land of their beloved homeland.
It is worth noting that, under current conditions, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Defense have created appropriate service and living conditions for military personnel.
