Dear Esteemed Teachers and Educators!
Dear Students!
With profound respect and sincere warm wishes, I congratulate all of you, and especially the children who are entering the school for the first time, on the beginning of the new 2026–2027 academic year.
Knowledge Day, the Lesson of Peace, and the beginning of the new academic year are taking place on the eve of the great national celebration – the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. This historic and fateful event is a symbol of pride and happiness for every citizen of Tajikistan and plays an important role in strengthening national identity and developing modern Tajik society.
I would like to emphasize that the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, rightly noted at one of his meetings: “School, family and society – these three responsible and powerful forces must always remain united and make every effort together for the proper education and upbringing of adolescents and young people. I call upon the honorable people of the country, including the patriotic youth and adolescents of Tajikistan, to always remain united and cohesive, to appreciate our statehood and independence, to possess a strong sense of national identity, and to direct all our efforts toward the prosperity of our homeland and the development of our sovereign state.”
In this regard, we must educate and nurture the younger generation and youth in the spirit of strong national identity, patriotism, and pride in their homeland.
We place our trust in the intelligence, knowledge, professional skills and expertise of teachers, the sense of responsibility of parents, respect for intellectuals, and the sincere commitment of society to the school. We are confident that education and academic professionals, as well as dedicated and experienced teachers, will make a worthy and lasting contribution to raising a knowledgeable and well-educated generation, demonstrating a high level of professional responsibility.
Each of us has a duty to take effective measures to protect our society from the negative influences of modern global developments, including foreign cultural and spiritual influences, and to raise our children in the spirit of patriotism, respect for their mother tongue, cultural traditions and customs, national values, and respect for national dress.
It is a matter of great pride that, on the eve of the new academic year, a number of new modern buildings for educational and preschool institutions, additional classrooms, and sports facilities have been constructed in the district in accordance with a dedicated development plan. The main and auxiliary buildings of dozens of educational institutions have also been repaired and renovated. These efforts will contribute to improving the level and quality of education and upbringing.
It should be noted that this year, 26 talented young men and women from the district were admitted to higher educational institutions under the Presidential quota, while 42 students were admitted to universities outside the country. According to the results of the National Testing Center, out of a total of 2,785 graduates of the district’s educational institutions, 1,851 graduates submitted applications to higher educational institutions and earned the distinguished status of university students.
Once again, I sincerely congratulate education sector employees, teachers and students, especially the dear first-graders who have entered school for the first time, as well as all the honorable residents of the district, on Knowledge Day and the new academic year, which is being welcomed on the eve of the grand celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. I wish you all good health, happiness, prosperity, success, and outstanding achievements in your studies.
May the light of knowledge always illuminate our path, and may our beloved Tajikistan always remain prosperous, peaceful, and flourishing!
Happy New Academic Year and Knowledge Day, dear teachers and students
