On January 29, 2025, a press conference was held in the conference hall of "Tajik Air" JSC, chaired by the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur. The conference was attended by the General Director of "Tajik Air" JSC, Shodmonzoda Parviz, the First Deputy General Director of "Dushanbe International Airport" JSC, Malikzoda Asliddin, the Deputy Director of "Somon Air" LLC, Aliakhmad Qurbunov, the First Deputy General Director of "Tajikaeronavigation" State Enterprise, Shodmonbekzoda Davron, and employees of the Civil Aviation Agency and aviation companies.
The event was attended by 71 representatives of domestic and foreign media, including state and independent outlets.
The questions raised primarily focused on the level and quality of services at airports and aviation companies, the organization of domestic and international flights by "Tajik Air" JSC, the establishment of new aviation companies to increase the competitiveness of civil aviation, the creation of transit routes using the latest technologies, as well as conducting transit flights through the airspace of the Republic of Tajikistan. The plans of "Somon Air" LLC for increasing flights to foreign countries, the implementation of "electronic gates" at the country’s airports, flight safety issues, the Civil Aviation Agency’s plans for 2025, and other important matters were also discussed. The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency and the leaders of aviation companies provided detailed answers to all the questions.
