On November 28, 2024, with the direct support of the founder of peace and national unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, and on the initiative of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Somon Air Airlines LLC, the Dushanbe-Doha-Dushanbe route was opened, which runs once a week. The flight time is 3 hours and 50 minutes. It should be noted that cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Qatar has been established on the basis of the "agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the State of Qatar on air traffic", signed on February 6, 2017. The protocol of the meeting between the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Civil Aviation Administration of the Government of the State of Qatar was signed on April 22, 2019 and consists of 25 articles. We hope that the organization of this route will contribute to the development of the country's aviation industry and attract a large number of tourists.
