Today an online-meeting has been held between the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In order to strengthen bilateral cooperation, in March of current year, according to the online-meeting between AZAL, the Civil Aviation Agency, and Aircompany Somon Air LLC, the issue of resuming flights on the Dushanbe-Baku-Dushanbe route was discussed. As a result, in May 2023, the first scheduled flight on the Dushanbe-Baku-Dushanbe route was carried out by “Buta Airways”.
We are glad that during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Azerbaijan, which took place on May 21-22 of current year, 14 new documents on cooperation were signed following the negotiations.
It is assumed that in the future cooperation between these two countries will be further developed in the field of civil aviation.
