On September 2, 2025, an expanded meeting was held in the tax committee with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee Bakhtiyor Sulton, representatives of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Department Rabizod Dilovar, Chief Inspector of the same Department Hamdamzoda Sadriddinjon and other tax officials, at which the agency's proposals were presented. which were included in the tax committee and were reviewed.
Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee Bakhtiyor Sulton noted that the tax committee regularly carries out certain work to prevent corruption. In particular, the relevant orders of the tax committee “the internal departmental plan of the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the relevant year are adopted annually in order to ensure the implementation of the state anti-corruption strategy in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030 and the action plan for its implementation for the first stage (2021-2025)".
In addition, in accordance with the provisions of Article 162 of the Tax Code, one of the main tasks of tax authorities is to determine procedures and methods for conducting risk analysis of corruption in tax authorities and their implementation.
In their speech, representatives of the agency noted that countering any acts of corruption is the responsibility not only of government officials, but also of every citizen.
Also at the meeting on the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan regulating the field of combating corruption, the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offenses, as well as the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Combating Corruption", Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 3, 2021 No. 222 "On the State Strategy for combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030" were considered and the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated October 28, 2016, No. 465 "On the methodology of the procedure and methodology for conducting an analysis of activities (corruption risks)", the meeting participants were provided with brief information and once again emphasized their implementation at a high and necessary level.
