On 15 July 2026, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Industrial Development Center LLC signed an Investment Agreement for the implementation of a project to establish a textile cluster in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The project envisages attracting USD 83.2 million in investment. It is aimed at creating a complete textile production value chain, from cotton cultivation and processing to the production of yarn, fabrics, and ready-made garments.
The project is expected to create more than 5,500 new jobs for the local population.
The implementation of the project will contribute to the development of the country's light industry, increase export capacity, attract foreign direct investment, promote the efficient use of local raw materials, and support the sustainable socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan.
