On February 20, 2025, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin, held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Tajikistan, with residence in Tashkent, Ilhom Tuah Ilyas.

At the beginning of the meeting, Zavqizoda Z. A. emphasized the historical role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, in establishing stability, regional security, and forming a progressive foreign policy.
