On 7 October 2026, a meeting was held between the Minister of economic development and trade Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali and the Executive Director of the Global Leaders Program Department of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Young Ran KIM.
During the meeting, the Minister of economic development and trade noted that thanks to the wise policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Honorable Emomali Rahmon, trade and economic relations between Tajikistan and Korea have reached a high level of development, and the volume of bilateral trade turnover is increasing year by year.
In continuation of the meeting, the parties discussed issues of developing trade and economic cooperation, investment, digitalization of sectors, training of highly qualified personnel, intellectual property, and the implementation of new joint projects.
