On September 7, 2026, in honor of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, a celebration meeting was held at the Ministry of economic development and Trade. The event was addressed by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Economic Affairs, Hikmatullozoda Nematullo; the Minister of economic development and trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali; and the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the Ismoili Somoni district, Qurbonzoda Ubaydullo.
The celebration meeting was opened with a welcoming speech by the Minister of economic development and Trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, who sincerely congratulated the ministry's staff and its subordinated structures on the occasion of the most sacred and greatest holiday - the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Furthermore, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Economic Affairs, Hikmatullozoda Nematullo, congratulated the leadership and staff of the central office and subordinate bodies of the ministry, and presented state awards to a number of ministry employees. These awards were conferred by the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Honorable Emomali Rahmon, on the occasion of State Independence, in recognition of their effective service to the state.
During the continuation of the event, awards were also presented to other employees of the ministry and its subordinated structures, who were honored with certificates of merit from the Ministry of economic development and trade and the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the Ismoili Somoni district.
